When this method helps

Use this when several paused books are competing for your next reading session.

Percent complete does not show whether context is recoverable or the original question still matters. A restart sample gives better evidence.

Method

Build the note

1. For each book, read the saved return cue and one page before and after the stop.

2. Rate only two practical fields: context recovered and curiosity still active.

3. Resume the strongest fit for the current week and keep the others paused without a deadline.

Quality check

Before you trust the note

The chosen book should have a clear next question and manageable context cost, not merely the smallest remaining page count.
