Use this when comparing or discussing manga in different editions.

A page number can point to a different visual order after mirroring or repagination. Layout metadata prevents false panel comparisons.

Method

Build the note

1. Record publisher, edition, volume, and declared reading direction.

2. Add chapter and a spoiler-safe panel landmark beside the page number.

3. Before comparing composition, confirm whether either edition mirrors art, moves sound effects, or changes page breaks.

Quality check

Before you trust the note

A reader using either edition should locate the same panel and know whether its orientation changed.
