CH / STUDIOReading Journal: TabMap field guide

A practical reading method

Keep a Vacation Reading Map Without Packing Extra Notes

Choose one portable place for page, signal, and a cue of six words or fewer. Leave sensitive context in the original journal and use a neutral reference such as private note one. Before returning home, reconcile the travel map with the full notes and delete the temporary copy if it is no longer needed.

Use this when traveling with a physical book and limited space. Travel interruptions make loose notes easy to lose, while copying an entire journal creates unnecessary exposure. A compact map preserves continuity with less material.

Before you trust the note
