A recap can spoil a book by explaining more than the group currently knows. A boundary-first change list stays useful and safe.

Use chapter plus page or another edition-neutral landmark.

List changes in state, knowledge, or relationships without predicting why.

Leave later causes and resolutions out until the boundary moves.
