CH / STUDIOReading Journal: TabMap field guide

A paper-first reading field guide

Make Spoiler-Safe Notes for a Shared Copy

Use three linked fields: shared boundary, safe cue, and hidden later note. Keep each field brief and attach the page or chapter landmark that supports it.

Share reading cues with another reader while protecting everything beyond their current boundary. A compact three-anchor trail keeps the note useful when you return later or discuss it with someone using another edition.

Step 1

Anchor the location

Record the page or chapter before interpreting the moment. Add the current reading boundary when later knowledge could change the note.

Step 2

Shared boundary

Confirm the last chapter both readers have finished.

Step 3

Safe cue

Write the cue using evidence only inside that boundary.

Step 4

Hidden later note

Store any later connection separately until the boundary advances.
