Mark a Scene That Reframes an Earlier Page
Keep both page references: the original scene and the later reframing scene. Write what the first page meant then and what the later page changes, without editing away the first reading.
A revelation often changes an earlier scene without changing its words. Two page anchors preserve that reading shift.
Step 1
Anchor the location
Record the page or chapter before interpreting the moment. Add the current reading boundary when later knowledge could change the note.
Step 2
Earlier scene
Describe the first scene as you understood it at the time.
Step 3
Later reveal
Record the later page that supplies the new context.
Step 4
Meaning changed
Name the precise interpretation that changes and what still remains uncertain.
