UncarryReminder Closeout

Privacy policy · updated September 12, 2026

Your reminders stay on your device.

Uncarry does not require an account. Reminder content stays on your device. This policy becomes effective when Uncarry is publicly released.

Collection

Your reminder data is not collected

Uncarry does not send reminder titles, list names, due dates, closeout decisions, payment-card details, account identifiers, or device identifiers to the developer or third parties.

It contains no advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or remote AI service.

Anonymous metric

One purchase-interest count

If you tap Unlock every closeout in a verified production App Store installation, Uncarry may send one anonymous signal per installation to a first-party endpoint. This measures whether the Lifetime offer receives any purchase interest.

The signal has no request body and includes no reminder data, account ID, device ID, advertising ID, purchase history, or client timestamp. It is not used for tracking or advertising.

Aggregation

No individual event history

The application database stores only a single aggregate total plus the first and most recent server timestamps. It does not store individual event rows or try to identify a person or device. A local preference prevents repeated successful sends from the same installation.

The hosting provider processes the network request needed to deliver this signal. The developer does not add network metadata to the aggregate analytics table.

Apple Reminders

Only after you choose the real path

Uncarry requests full Reminders access only after you begin a real closeout. You explicitly select one writable list. The app reads incomplete, non-recurring reminders due today or earlier and changes only the reminders you review and approve.

Uncarry never deletes reminders or marks them complete. Apple may store or synchronize Reminders data according to your Apple Account and Apple's policies; Uncarry does not copy it to a developer server.

Local recovery

Exact originals, stored temporarily

Before applying an approved batch, Uncarry stores the affected reminder identifiers and exact original and expected values in its private Application Support directory. This journal exists only to restore the originals after an interrupted write.

It is removed after a verified Keep, Undo, or successful recovery. One local preference records whether the included real closeout has been used. Uncarry does not store a separate task database.

Your control

Access and deletion

You can revoke Reminders access in iOS Settings and review, change, or delete reminder content in Apple Reminders. Deleting Uncarry removes its app-local recovery and preference data; it does not delete reminders stored in Apple Reminders.

Purchases

Processed by Apple

Lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Uncarry receives StoreKit product information and verified entitlement state needed to unlock future closeouts. The developer does not receive your payment-card details.

Purchase history and refund handling are governed by Apple.

Apple services

Diagnostics and App Store data

Apple may process App Store transactions, diagnostics, or aggregate App Store information under Apple's policies and your device settings. Uncarry adds no third-party crash-reporting or analytics SDK. Its only developer-operated analytics is the anonymous aggregate purchase-interest count described above.
